Materials Needed (makes 1 mug rug)

• 7” X 7” base piece
• 7” X 10 ½” backing piece
• (4) 2” X 7” strips
• 7” X 10 ½” double sided fusible foam or fusible batting
• 2 ½” x wof strip for binding
• Laser precut appliqué with notions or cut each applique per fabrics listed below
• 7” x 11/16“ ric rac
• Thread to match fabric
• Black fine tip permanent marker
• Blush for cheeks or red color pencil
• White paint writer (can be purchased at any craft store)
